Welcome! My name is Rachael and I am a library clerk in northwestern Indiana. During college, I worked at the music library on campus which spawned my love for working at the library! After moving to a new town, I found a job working within the library though not directly with the library. However, my temporary job spring-boarded me into my current position. It's always a journey!
In 2017, I became the official/unofficial Children's Bulletin Board Creative Director, or rather, the Children's Bulletin Board designer, if you will. I appreciate my opportunity to do something creative (which I love) in a setting that I also love. Additionally, most of my boards require additional help. With the assistance of another clerk, my letter lady (she positions my letters just right!), I am able to design and execute my creations flawlessly.
Currently, I have acquired my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Louisville and will be pursuing my Master of Library Information Science in the fall. I have a strong background in art (2D, 3D, Drawing 1, and Drawing 2, among others) and appreciate every opportunity to use my creative skills.
I have created this blog, not only to share with you my bulletin board creations, but to offer instructions for those wishing to re-create a bulletin board or needing inspiration. I have found that it is sometimes difficult to find the templates and other resources necessary to create elaborate bulletin boards. I hope to create a space that is informative and rich in resources for those with similar endeavors.
